What if you encounter yourself?

Playing with your shadow. Where do I finish and where do you start?

Shards of your identity glued to each other. Will we then still be the same?


Gradually during the performance it becomes clear that all three of us represent the same individual. We are not unique, but coincide in the way we think and act. Through this representation you can see subtle differences between the three performers rising. How do our actions coincides, how strongly do these small individual nuances come to the forefront of the performance? Where one performer looks to the right from the eyes, the other turns the eyes away. Just as one person has several sides of themselves that they can show, we bring several facets of the same individual together.
We will double our external identity whilst all three try to appear the same. This is only possible to a certain degree because as do not obtain the plastic surgical knife. However, all three wear the same costumes. At the same time, every dancer has a personal manner whith which to carry the clothing they wear. As a result, the attention is draw to the divergent characteristics which the same person has.
We also double our movements. Not only our attire the will be the same. Also in the movement we will reach one identity. This happens in several ways. On the one hand movements of each other are taken up again. Thereby attention especially goes to details, such as small tics. On the other hand action is at the same time carried out. Thus there are `shadow duets' where the performer creates the shade of the other performer. The shade forms a resonance of reality.

Where does Teo end and where does Peka begin?
Is Peka really Reka?
Maybe he has a towel around his waist?
I like it that Teo looks like a giant shrimp in a pram.
They could all be in an empty swimming pool!
